Gotta Get Your Steps In
I don't know about y'all, but when I move things around.... I feel so refreshed. Renewed. Like a new start. For the past two weeks I've been trying to get up early and go for a walk to get some exercise since we're staying safe and staying home. The first week went great! Annie got up with me and rode her bike while I did my three mile walk. It was great. I felt so productive and had my 10k steps before 10 am! The second week didn't go as well haha! I got up one day. That's it. One. Day. Oh well.
Today, the girls had a swimming party to go to and were gone for quite a while so I took the opportunity to remove a potential excuse. I have a treadmill in the guest bedroom turned Danny's office. I moved the treadmill into the kitchen (it folds up) and moved the big table we were using for home learning into the guest room/office. Now. No excuse. I can walk on the treadmill everyday while the girls play outside.
Moving all that stuff around and switching up our environment is so rejuvinating. It makes me want to clean. It makes me inspired to keep things clean. Unfortunately that means the dog got a bath too. Poor guy. Let's hope that tomorrow proves that my hard work today was worth it. And on the big plus side... I don't have to get up early to walk on the treadmill. Yay!
